Recall that Minister of Aviation (state) Hadi Sirika said the Nnamdi International airport will be closed down for six weeks starting from February.
The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport has been rescheduled to now closed on March 8.

The new change of date would enable Federal Government repair its runway.
The idea to close down Abuja airport and divert it-bound flights
to Kaduna, an airport primarily used for local flights about 160km to the north, was decided upon after airlines threatened to stop flying to
the Nigerian capital.
Formerly Government said the closure of the airport will last for six weeks which was suppose to begin by febuary.
But a the date has now been rescheduled to March 8 although the Minister has not given any reason for the postponement.
