I am publishing this guide for the benefit of my readers who are either finding it difficult to navigate the Nigerian Army Recruitment forms and the right steps to follow though the Portal is yet to be opened for login access. From the brief information on their site, they are only keeping the general public informed, and to remind them that the portal for the 75 Regular Recruits intake for both tradesmen, women and non trade will soon be open for them to fill in their necessary details , also bear in mind that the portal is only for qualified candidate who are interested in joining the Nigerian Army. Once the exercise commences, the Nigerian Army portal can be logged in from www.narecruitment.org which is the Nigerian Army e-Recruitment Portal Official Homepage.

The Nigeria Army has warned the general public to be careful of all roadsides fraudsters pretending to either be a senior staff or whatever they claim to be and avoid all messages from any third party.

Application Process for Nigerian Army Recruitment.

  • Step 1:

Create a personal account on the portal: You are to provide an E-mail which will be your user name and Password.

  • Step 2:

Complete the Application form by clicking-submit and Print a copy of your form. Completing the form simply means you can visit your profile anytime using the same portal all you need to do is to fill in your mail and password .

  • Step 3:

Visit the site from the date you are shortlisted to confirm if you have made it through.

  • Step 4:

Be at the pre-screening centre on the specific date given to you when submitting the form.

  • Step 5:

Log into your site on dd-mm-yyyy for successful candidates who will finally go for the Zonal Screening Exercise.

  • Step 6:

You will be invited to take part in the Zonal Screening Exercise on the date given after been short listed at the designated Zonal Centres. Once you are finally among the selected ones the Zonal Screening Exercise will immediately commence training at the Nigerian Army, Zaria Kaduna State.

Before filling the forms above there are simple guidelines to know before joining the Nigeria army 2016/2017.

Are you qualified? Check list

  • Applicants: Nigerian origin by birth.
  • All Applicants must attend zonal screening exercise at the designated zonal centres for their respective states.
  • Non Tradesmen & Women Applicants age between 18 – 22 years.
  • Tradesmen & Women Applicants age between 18 – 26 years.
  • Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.65 meters tall for male and 1.56 meters for female.
  • Applicants must have no criminal traces.
  • Applicants must submit all completed form at the screening centres during the screening exercise.

What Are The Recruitment Requirements?

  • Photocopies of Birth Certificate if one then Come with Age Declaration.
  • Copies of academic and professional Certificates.
  • A letter of Identification signed by the identifying officer in Section F of the duly completed form (printed from this on-line portal).
  • Applicants shall be required to produce the originals of all certificates/Credentials and Electronic Voucher or Scratch Card used to apply on this on-line portal.

Candidates whose pictures are not submitted electronically may not be considered for short listing.

Note: Nigerian Army reserves the right to prosecute any individual or group found to have fraudulently gained access to their website or information contained in it to defraud others.

Please also note that any applicant suspected to have impersonated, manipulated or submitted false documents shall be disqualified during or after training. Such an applicant shall also be handed over to the Police for Prosecution.
