Imo State is in progress as it is set to become the first indigenous state to own an airline company which is in partnership with Dana air.
Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha together with his stakeholders was in Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri to take delivery of the first set of aircrafts by 10:am Tuesday 2017.
Named “IMO AIR” is the first state airline which is billed to ease movement of Imolites, top business men and women around the eastern part of the country and its neighbouring states.
IMO AIR will help in providing improved proceeds for the State, substantial employment for Imo populace and business friendly environment for Imolites and the Igbo race entirely.
Imo Air is also aimed at opening the southern part of the country through its Imo International Cargo, to ease importers and exporters of all kinds of goods.
