Job Description 

Nevertheless as we all know reporting to the Head, Enterprise Innovation Unit, the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support in driving, creating and shaping the Bank’s strategic innovation agenda.  Specific responsibilities amongst others include:

  • Firstly support in developing, implementing and communicating the Bank’s Innovation strategy across its vast network and through different business areas
  • Evaluate innovation efforts to ensure both return on investment and support feedback loops of learning and improvement
  • Secondly support in creating an organizational culture that supports and drives strategic innovation
  • Drive profitability through digital innovation; and convert ideas into product/ service offerings
  • Thirdly prepare R&D project proposals, based on the outcome from internal ideas, external consultants and customers
  • Lastly bring to life the innovation agenda through distinctive and engaging communication messages

Qualifications

  • Firstly minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience innovation, business strategy and/or business development.
  • Secondly excellent knowledge of Data Gathering and statistical Analysis
  • Good knowledge of financial services industry
  • Understanding of the Bank’s operational processes
  • Finally excellent Project Management working knowledge

Job Description

  • Nevertheless as we all know reporting to the Head, Strategy and Corporate Development, the ideal candidate will have overall responsibility of creating and shaping the Bank’s strategic innovation agenda across its vast network and through different business areas by harnessing the rapidly advancing technological environment.

Specific responsibilities amongst others include:

  • Furthermore as we all know design an innovation system that can repeatedly identify and build future growth businesses within and outside the bank, representing new sources of short, medium, and long-term sustainable growth; and Facilitate team creativity to improve the efficiency of the development team.
  • Coordinate cross-organizational collaboration, ideation and research activity to make recommendations for new product/service development.
  • Secondly lead projects for the promotion and development of new innovations.
  • Support business units in developing initiatives for new products and services; and keep innovation program within agreed budget.
  • Evaluate innovation efforts to ensure both return on investment and support feedback loops of learning and improvement

Qualifications

  • Firstly minimum of 10 years’ years’ relevant banking experience in innovation, business development, and/or strategy experience with at least 4 years in Middle Management role
  • Excellent use of office collaboration tools
  • Good working knowledge of Project Management and Agile Methodology
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Sound Industry knowledge
  • Good knowledge of computer usage
  • Finally excellent presentation skills.
